【Product Description】

The Fe Total Iron Water Quality Auto Analyzer measures total iron concentration in water samples using the 1,10-phenanthroline spectrophotometric method. After pretreatment, the sample pump delivers the specimen to a mixer, where reagents are added at a preset ratio. Hydroxylamine hydrochloride reduces ferric iron to ferrous iron. Under pH 3–9 conditions, ferrous iron reacts with 1,10-phenanthroline to form a stable orange-red complex, which exhibits maximum absorbance at 530 nm. The absorbance (A) is measured at this wavelength, and the total iron concentration is calculated by referencing a pre-calibrated standard curve.
